Update from Health Sciences
I love the change of seasons. Just when you think you can't stand another sweltering summer day, you begin to experience just a hint of fall. There are lots of things to love about fall.  Autumn colors, football, comfortable temperatures, and Thanksgiving are a few things that come to mind. I also enjoy spotting those little sulfur yellow butterflies in migration. It's hard to believe that such a small fragile creature is capable of a migration flight of several hundred miles. They endure the hardships to winter in a warmer climate.

The students that enter the health science programs in the fall are much like those little yellow butterflies. They migrate through our programs in search of better circumstances, expanded job opportunities, and an improved standard of living. I think that most would agree that it's an arduous journey that unfortunately not all survive. The ones that do successfully complete their migration however are justly rewarded.

I hope that you enjoy your fall and appreciate all the butterflies!
