Update from Planning and Assessment
Training has begun on the newest SPOL module. The Assessment Module will allow for departments to report their results from the college-wide Student Learning Outcomes assessments directly into SPOL. Data can be gathered at any point in the semester and the results added at that time. Although we are still in the early stages of reporting results, there have already been a few surprises. The greatest benefit of this endeavor is that the more we know about how well our students are performing, the more we can do to assist them.
It may be painful to learn a new system now, but in the long run it will streamline our processes and eliminate the paperwork hassle. If you have any questions, please contact me. ~Mary Mayo
