Division Update -   Adult Education

The Adult Education Program has relocated to the Center for Economic and Workforce Development (the old music building).  This is our WSCC campus location.  However, it is our goal this year to create an awareness of our other locations throughout Cullman, Blount, Morgan and Winston counties.  This program serves an average of 1,800 people each year.   This population receives FREE preparation for college entry, GED exam, English as a Second Language, Career Advising, and Basic Education.  It is our privilege to help our students gain employment, college enrollment, or any other goal they may set.

Our Adult Learning Centers are available in all four counties.
In Blount County - The Blount County Adult Learning Center at Hope House in Oneonta, the Adult Learning Center at Blount County Career Technical Center in Cleveland, and the ESL Site at Susan Moore Elementary in Susan Moore

In Morgan County - The Adult Learning Center at Eva Town Hall in Eva and the GED Preparation Site at Brewer High School in Summerville

In Winston County - The Outreach Center in Double Springs, and the GED Preparation Site at Addison Elementary in Addison

In Cullman County - The Adult Education Main Office and Class Site on WSCC Campus in Hanceville, the C.A.R.E. Center in Cullman, Work Release Program in Cullman, Childhaven in Cullman, the Cullman ELL Program at First Methodist and First Baptist in Cullman, the GED Preparation site at Parkside School in Baileyton, and the GED Preparation site at Daystar in Good Hope

GED Online Preparation also available.  The first step for enrollment is to call and schedule an orientation 256-352-8078.  Orientations are available in each county.

We also provide free transportation through the C.A.R.T.S. program in Cullman and Blount counties and programs are available to assist with test fees if necessary.
