| Message from the WSCC Awards Committee - Extraordinary Employees
Wallace State students are promised "a life less ordinary." This promise is backed by employees who strive together to achieve greater results, promote positive reinforcement, break down barriers, discover the perfect solution, serve the community, and educate one another. More often, however, a less ordinary life for students-and campus employees-is brought about by those simple acts of kindness shown on a daily basis both on campus and in the community. These acts are the ones that often make a quiet but indelible impact on the lives of our students and fellow coworkers. Moreover, these acts have the power to inspire others to seize the opportunity to help or serve others, improving everyday life. Starting in February 2010, the WSCC Awards Committee would like you to join us in recognizing those special acts of kindness or those services performed above and beyond the ordinary. We invite you to simply click on the "Extraordinary Employee" link and submit names and brief descriptions of those employees who are seen making a difference on campus or in the community with everyday acts of kindness. These employees will be recognized in the Wallace State Employee Newsletter and receive a token of appreciation. Thanks for joining us in recognizing Wallace State Employees caught doing extraordinary deeds and truly making life on campus a little less ordinary for all!
