Music Department Presents Christmas Gala Thursday The WSCC Singers, Concert Band, Concert Choir, and Jazz Band.will perform the sounds of the holiday season during a free Christmas concert on Thursday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. in the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre. Canned Food Drive

Congratulations to Joe Hendrix and Tony Jetton for completing the FANUC Robotics Certified Educational Robotics Training Program.
The Theatre Department will hold auditions for Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" on December 4 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre. Participants should prepare 16 bars, or a verse and chorus, of a Disney style song that shows range. For more information, email theatre@wallacestate.edu.
"A Billion for a Billion"
The World Food Programme is calling on ordinary citizens to mobilize through the "Billion for a Billion" campaign to end hunger. "A Billion for a Billion" is designed to make a link between the billion people who go hungry and the more than a billion people who are on the Internet. Did you know? "If everyone with plenty gave just $1.50 or Euro1 a week, those without food would have enough to eat," said WFP Executive Director Josette Sheeran. To find out more, click here.
Trip to Greece WSCC is planning a trip to Greece in May, 2010. The tour will depart May 20 and return May 28, with an optional three-day Greek Isle Cruise extension returning May 31. The trip is open to anyone interested. For more information, contact Kristen Holmes (x8118).
Athletics Update
Congratulations to the men's basketball team for earning two more wins at the Shelton State Classic last week and improving to 7-1 on the season. The Lions return to home action on Saturday at 4 p.m. vs. Ft. McPherson. The Lady Lions also play on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Talking Hands Club
The Talking Hands Club will be learning Christmas Carols in sign language at the next few meetings, held every Tuesday at noon on JBC 4th floor. Contact Heather Congo (x8054) for more information. Poinsettias
Poinsettias are now available in the Agribusiness department for $8 and $10 each. No sales will be made after 2:30 p.m.
