Spring 2010 E-Newsletter

From the President

Welcome! Thank you for signing up to receive our e-newsletter. In addition to new product offerings, we will feature a designer or local project that knocks our socks off. We hope these features will inspire you to do more with tile in your home or business.

Our new product introductions will be under the header, "What's New at TWR." In this issue we are featuring The Nadeau Collection. You've never seen Natural Stone like this before, so be sure to check out their custom capabilities. Our showroom will be prominently displaying some of Nadeau's more unique concepts as well.

Your feedback is very important to us. Feel free to drop me a note with any questions or concerns, I'd love to hear from you; email me, or visit our website.

Featured Designer: Blynn Nelson Interior Design

Florida Tile
Florida Tile, Horizon Series

Our "Featured Designer" for this edition is Blynn Nelson, a local interior designer who has been in the industry for nearly 15 years. She started her own design company, Blynn Nelson Interior Design, LLC., 5 years ago. Her most recent accomplishment includes the work she provided for the Monroe County Public Safety Building.

There are times when Blynn will work a project on her own and times where she partners with architectural firms. In this case, it was DeWolff Architects that invited Blynn to lend her expertise in designing the interior of the newly renovated Public Safety Building. Blynn was able to showcase her design ideas throughout the renovated building, specifically on Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn's floor and in the facility's locker rooms. You can see her creative use of many types of tile in the Sheriff's office, his war room, the Under Sheriff's office, administrative spaces, the Sheriff's private bathroom and kitchenette, and other bathrooms on the floor. You can see more photos of this project on Tile Wholesalers' Facebook Fan Page. Blynn specified products from many different manufacturers. Among them, Crossville Ceramics, specifically Questech Metal Inserts and Florida Tile were prominently used. All of these products were purchased at Tile Wholesalers of Rochester, Inc.

Crossville INC
Walls: Crossville, ColorBlox Mosaic and Questech Metal Inserts.
Floor: Crossville, ColorBlox Too Series
(Sheriff O'Flynn's Private Kitchenette)

She drew her inspiration by keeping in mind who she was designing for. In this case she wanted it to be a bit more upscale, but still conservative, and with a more masculine feel. She noted how wonderful it was working with the client because they invested time and energy and really cared about how the space looked and felt.

We'd like to thank Blynn for her willingness to share her recent work with Tile Wholesalers and we hope you have enjoyed this highlighted local project. Please feel free to email us at Tile Wholesalers if you have a project you would like to feature, or know of another project of interest in the area, large or small.
