Client Testimonials
Progress Energy expects the same high level of performance from its contractors as from its employees.  ESI consistently delivers a quality product, on time, and at competitive rates.
~ Progress Energy, Raleigh, North Carolina

We have worked with Steve Jones and ESI for seven years on various projects including watershed restoration planning, contract work for various stream restoration and improvements, and to establish a stream mitigation bank in Chicopee Woods. I heartily recommend his services. We have found Environmental Services to be exceptional in their professional dealings with agencies, flexible, conscientious and diligent in their client services, and we believe they do the very best on-the-ground work in the field. As caretakers of the upper Walnut Creek watershed which encompasses approximately 2600 acres, we know that their work and cooperative approach has contributed significantly to making our streams healthier for the long term.
~ Andrea Timpone, President/CEO, Elachee Nature Science Center

Geographic Information Systems @ ESI

ESI's GIS Division utilizes GIS functionality for manipulation of spatial data, applying the appropriate analysis and generating detailed maps and/or drawings. Field data collection using mobile applications and equipment is routine for ESI's technical staff. We emphasize mission planning and coordination with the client, project engineers, partners, and technical team(s) to formalize data needs prior to project initiation.

A lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida, Rusty Newman leads ESI's GIS Division.  His responsibilities include management and direction of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and CAD (Computer Aided Design) staff and departments throughout the company. He also works with ESI clients and partners through specialized geospatial technologies.

ESI in the Community

ESI is proud to have employees who are connected to the communities in which we live.

In Jacksonville, Florida, employees Rachael Sulkers and Michelle Hendryx volunteer and serve as Board members of the Jacksonville Arboretum.

The Jacksonville Arboretum and Gardens will host a 'plein air' painting event, titled 'A Brush with Nature' April 7-9, 2011, where renowned regional artists will set up their easels to capture, on canvas, the essence of this beautiful natural park in the midst of our city.
