President's Letter November 2011
Greetings! Wow, I can't believe that it's already November. Halloween has just passed and I just realized that I probably need to start making my menu for Thanksgiving. This also means that ISES-NCC has some great things coming up that you should check out. Since we are in November that means that we are a couple of weeks away from our very first joint meeting with MPINCC at Nob Hill Masonic Auditorium. Have you signed up yet? If not, click here. The topic is "The Big Bang: How to Produce Events with Impact". Some of the top planners and producers in the industry will be part some great panel discussions and it's an opportunity to learn more about how planner and producers work. This also promises to be a great networking opportunity. Have you signed up to receive updates from the ISES-NCC blog? If not, you should. There is some great information available for you to read and we are always looking for guest authors. Click here to learn more. Don't forget to sign up to participate in our Biennial Vendor Showcase. This is a great marketing opportunity for your company and a chance to network with over 150 Bay Area event professionals in January 2012. Sign up here. We had our very first Brown Bag Lunch at AT&T Park to help prepare those interested in taking the CSEP. Thank you to Sara Hunt for hosting everyone. It was a great gathering and we all learned a lot. Were you able to make it to our very first networking mixer at Roe on October 20th? It was a huge success. Thank you to Roe Restaurant for hosting us and Orange Photography for capturing all the great moments of the event. There will be more mixers in 2012 so stay tuned. Have a great November and Thanksgiving holiday and hope to see you on the 15th. Valerie Hopple President, ISES-NCC
