SECURE YOUR SPOT in the Jesus in the City Parade, Saturday, September 8, 2012, Queen's Park at 12 noon. The parade is FREE for the public but churches, businesses or groups who are entering a flatbed truck or any vehicle and must register. (See registration fee below).
FLOATS
Floats must be properly decorated. A float can be a decorated car, SUV, pick-up truck or flatbed trailer. Floats must be parked at their assigned number at Queen's Park Crescent by 10am on Saturday, September 8, 2012. Registered Groups with only a Church or Company Banner and no vehicle/float must be there by 11:30am.
REGULATIONS
The Queen's Park Legislative Assembly does not allow the exchange of money on their South Park property, so all vendor sales and donations will take place on Queen's Park Crescent surrounding the grounds. Only Authorized vendors are allowed to sell on the designated Queen's Park Crescent.
Pamphlets, leaflets, tracks, books, magazines, newspapers and other publications can only be distributed during the parade with prior approval from Festival of Praise International and the Jesus in the City Committee.
Public Parking is NOT available at Queen's Park. There are other public parking areas in the vicinity. QUEEN'S PARK SUBWAY STATION is a short walk away.
