Spring is in the air and another Winter has come to an end. In this newsletter I would like to talk about 4 things:

1. How best to clean and store your winter clothes.
2. Introduce you to our NEW Summer Clothing and Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs).
3. Tell you about the Geigerrig Hydration Packs which are on SALE!!
4. Remind you about our End-of-Season-Sale.  

• Launder all of you winter wear according to manufacturer recommendations as shown on inner labels. 
• For jackets and pants, we use the NikWax Fabric Care Kit. It is a non-detergent cleaner and waterproofing system that is recommended by many of the top winter outerwear makers.             Read more 
• For base layers, turtlenecks and sweaters, we use a mild detergent and NO FABRIC SOFTENER, which will affect the absorbancy and wicking properties.    
• Store in a cool, dry location such as a closet or dry basement.
• Never store in a hot attic. The heat could reek havoc with the waterproofing membranes and plastic components, such as zippers and snaps.    

After much pondering and research we have decided to bring in a Summer line. Although we love Winter, we do enjoy Summer as well and as the snow melts into all of the waterways around the Midwest, we chose to sell SUPs, the needed accessories and a line of specialized Summer clothing. We selected apparel that is lightweight, wicking, fast drying, sun protecting, versatile and stylish from Salomon, Marmot, White Sierra, SoyBu, O'Neill and Rusty.
