Greetings!
It took days and days of unusual rain and cold, but New York City finally made it to summer. There has been a lot of activity at TMU lately and this is the perfect opportunity to stop, rest, and highlight some of the projects our grantees are leading. This is a normal email blast giving you an update of what's going on this summer, but we also thought we would reach out to our readers, our grantees, and our partners to ask for some updates. Share a story! Email! Post on our Facebook page! No matter how it's done, it all comes down to open communication and understanding; that's why we do the work we do! Your input is invaluable. Wishing you sunny days and great success, The TMU Team

| Russian National Orchestra: Festival del Sole
The Russian National Orchestra was founded during the Soviet regime and now, 20 years later, the RNO continues to impress international critics. This year's Festival del Sole will feature the RNO performing with celebrated soprano Nino Machaidze and baritone Guido Loconsolo.
Festival del Sole takes place every summer in California's beautiful Napa Valley. The Festival features concerts by some of the world's most celebrated musical artists, five-star cuisine, art exhibits, and wines from Napa's top vintners, blended in a unique celebration of the art of life.

Mostly Mozart Festival
The Mostly Mozart Festival was launched in 1966, shortly after the completion of the Lincoln Center campus. Called Midsummer Serenades: A Mozart Festival, the first two seasons consisted entirely of the music of Mozart, all performed in Avery Fisher Hall. Initiated as an experiment-common wisdom held there was no summer audience in New York, and there had never been an indoor summer music festival anywhere in the world-the Festival proved to be an instant draw for audiences and quickly became an indelible New York summer institution. |
