The Magic Bus
If you remember the 60's, you are sure to think this bus is a retro remnant from those crazy times.

Actually, it is the product of a new group of renegade crafters based in Austin, Texas. Magda Sayeg and her group of merry crafters known as Knitta Please begun taking their knitting, weaving and crocheting to the streets in 2005 to inspire a new generation of crafters to view traditional crafts as more than utilitarian. They used their crafts to inspire and bring the human scale and quality of crafts to the de-humanizing urban landscape of our cities. See more of their work on Magda's blog.
Click here to re-new your acquaintance with the original Magic Bus, a hit song by The Who in 1968. Too young to remember? Get inspired by the classics. Peace, man! |

SEE BETTER! If you remember The Magic Bus, you may also be one of the many boomers who have also discovered that their arms are getting shorter. Yup! Some of our best friends are getting glasses. Whether you get by with readers or have actually gotten prescription glasses, sometimes you just might need even a little more help...threading a needle, working with black yarn, following a chart. Has it happened to you?
We found a product we love called MagniClips. They clip on your glasses to provide hands-free extra help. Flip down for magnification; flip up when you don't. Keep a pair in your purse, car and workbasket. Choose from 8 magnifications. Click here to learn more. |
