Greetings!
 
August's Happy Birthdays go to Karen, Alex and Steph, hope you all had a great b'day!
September's Happy Birthdays go to Guy, Bryce and Amber. Have a good one!

We decided to take a News Letter holiday in August and enjoy the summer weather. We also said good bye to Kristy and Michaela who are both going back to school in Victoria, good luck. Karen Duncan has also moved on to pursue bigger and better things, we all miss her and wish her the best. August saw Karen Tierney come back to Union Street after a two year hiatus. Stephanie Backhouse has also come back on board after a years maternity leave. Welcome back!

We want to thank all our customers, staff and Downtown Courtenay for your continued support we very much appreciate it,
Mark and Danielle and all the staff at Union Street.
BEER PRICES we have lowered our beer bottle prices, come check it out. The Grotto is a great place to stop in for a cold one.

LABOUR DAY we will be closed for the holiday and for our annual staff party, kayaking and bbqing.

SUNDAY NIGHTS are family nights at Union Street. Order a meal in The Grotto or The Grill and your kids meal is half price.

UNION STREET is always on the hunt for successful, hard working, dedicated, fun staff. If you have a great sense of humour we may have a position for you. Email your resume to us.

THE GRILL is a full service restaurant for lunch and dinner, everyday.
 
THE GROTTO is a counter service, casual place with fantastic fast food & drinks. Breakfast is served all day every day.

STUDENTS show your student card in The Grotto & receive 10% off or buy a pitcher of beer and receive a free pot of golds.
