 Welcome To Our November 2009 News Letter
There has been a lot of positive feedback on our first newsletter, thanks
very much. It is amazing how fast time flies, we are now talking Christmas
and halloween is just over. On October 10th, The Grotto hosted a wedding brunch for Hanna and Aaron and 50 friends and family. What fun and congratulations again! The Grotto also provided platters for Roots the Salon's grand return to 5th St, October 28th. Welcome back Ida, Mike and staff!

NEWS
@ The Grill we have a new menu in place. For Lunch, Four Cheese French Onion Soup and Lunch pastas that include a salad. For Dinner, Coho Salmon and add a salad to any appy, make it a meal. For Breakfast, Huevos Rancheros. Some great options on all menus.
@ The Grotto we have simplified things, by putting all food on an easy to
read menu with lots of options.

THE GRILL is a full service restaurant for lunch, dinner and weekend
breakfast dining.
THE GROTTO is a counter service, casual place with fantastic fast food & drinks. Breakfast is served all day every day.
STUDENTS show your student card in The Grotto & receive 10% off or buy a pitcher of beer and receive a free pot of golds.
CHRISTM AS we have received a lot of calls recently about Christmas bookings, in response we have come up with a few menu options, these are just suggestions. Email for more information.The Grotto is a great place to host a party for up to 55 people, fully licensed and family friendly. Order a tapas platter for your office parties! Please call 24 hours ahead. Union Street will be closed on November 11, for Remembrance day. |

November Recipe

Union Street
Hot Apple
Cider
| 2 L Apple Juice
500 Ml Water
50 Ml Cranberry Tea
5 Ml Juniper Berries
5 Cloves
2 Cinnamon Sticks
100 Ml Brown Sugar
Combine all ingredients in a pot and simmer for 1 hour. Strain and enjoy. Keep refrigerated.
