We hope to keep you informed of the changes happening at Union Street. It has been 15 years since The Grill first opened it's doors, and there have been a lot of changes here and everywhere in the Comox Valley. In our first years we did all our own menus on a Commodore 64 computer. Mark hand drew pictures for the menus. Now computers are such a part of doing business, our music is on it's own computer. There have been some changes within our family as well. Introducing The Duncans @ Union St:

MUSIC we have received a lot of calls recently about music
in The Grotto. We stopped booking music for the summer months, after
almost 5 years of music every Friday night. We are now reviewing our
options. We feel we need to make it a more viable venue for some of the
great talent out there. Stay tuned.

Thanksgiving Recipe
Honey Pumpkin Dressing
250 ml Honey Yogurt 150 ml Pumpkin Puree 15 ml Lemon Juice 15 ml Fresh Ginger Pinch Nutmeg
Whisk all ingredients together, add salt & pepper to taste. Use pumpkin puree and Union Street Honey Yogurt Dressing. Pour on mixed greens with toasted pumpkin seeds & sundried cranberries.
