Company: PirateNinjaPrintShopJarrod:Well... I work my 8-5 full time job doing IT support at a company in Machesney Park. After 5 I arrive at my home/shop and prepare my work load for the night. This ranges from preparing screens, shirts, and materials for whatever jobs are on the list for the week. I drink one of my many sugar free Red Bulls for the day/evening. I usually start to multitask like it's going out of style all while I'm printing shirts. I will start 5 other projects and work on all of them until I get a break for dinner. The night will end between 1-3AM depending on the day. Sleep. Repeat.

Britney: Well I like to start my day off by waking up. Usually to the sound of my cat, Ophelia, purring in my face or clawing me in the arm. From there my day could go in any direction! I check my task list, which at this point is 3 pages long, and decide what exactly is the most important! Depending on the day, we could have an event coming up that I need to prepare for, or promotional kits being sent out that need to be designed. Every day is different for me and that's what I love! Some days I get to spend on adventures around Rockford taking promotional photos of our products, and some days I sit at my computer for 12 hours designing. Other days are spent in the hottest room of the house folding t-shirts as they come off the dryer. I do what needs to be done! I have the freedom to take charge and make every day the best it can be and I know I'm doing it all for the good of myself, Jarrod, and our company! It's a great feeling to know my work has meaning and that's what keeps me motivated to be the best every day!
Jarrod: My screen printing shop is pretty dang hot..... I enjoy Cj's or Kryptonite when I have free time.

Britney:I agree with Jarrod, that screen printing room is usually 96+ degrees, but that's not my favorite hot spot! I don't get out much but when I do its usually CJ's, Octane, or Bamboo. We stay local to support the people we live and work around! Another hot spot is in our studio, the first Friday of every month! August 6th we are hosting "Put Some Clothes On", a selection of T's and other wearable goods from the areas freshest creators! 7-11, all are welcome! Britney: After 5, Unplugged, and hopefully many more!Jarrod: Retail stores in the Downtown River District. More art events, and more art culture.

Britney: Vacant buildings to be bought and used for something good such as an indoor market, rental space for art shows and other events, and living space. More bodies living downtown will only help to bring other shops and fun places this way! Also, less crime people! It's getting ridiculous out there and we need to stop hating and start working together to build our community!Jarrod: What's free time? When I do... It's hanging with my Lady friend, movies, video games, riding in our sweet bike gang.

Britney:Free time is a funny joke to me. If there is ever free time I do enjoy hanging with Jarrod, usually consisting of "hey you wanna watch a movie" "yeah I'd love to!" Ok, zzzzzzzzzzzzz. If we are both able to stay awake we do enjoy watching movies! I also LOVE to ride in my bike gang, we're the baddest around. I love photography and going to the city. Anything relaxing is fun to me during my free time!
Jarrod:Go Green! Try to communicate face to face instead of phones, computers, Facebook, Twitter. Conversations are amazing face to face.

Britney:Be kind to each other. Don't conform. Keep your imagination and creativity alive! [to touch on Jarrod's note] Don't become a hermit and rely on technology to save you. We all need human interaction, it's good for your soul and your well being!
