On the 10th anniversary of the attacks on September 11, 2001, the Palm Desert Sister Cities Foundation presents its popular annual tribute concert honoring the courage of those who suffered and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The free event will celebrate universal humanity through patriotic music and inspiring words. Attendees are encouraged to bring water, chairs, blankets, picnics, and a candle.

Dozens of flower growers from across the country and around the world are exhibiting more than 200 types of their best fresh roses, gerberas, freesia, dahlias, amaryllis, proteas, anthuriums, delphiniums, asters, hydrangeas, petunias, lilies, Bells of Ireland, sunflowers, hypericums, lisianthus, statice, bulb flowers, alstroemeria, carnations, chrysanthemums, potted flowering plants, bedding plants and decorative foliage.
Expert judges will evaluate each bloom and award the finest Best in Show; 12 entries will receive Best in Class honors, and dozens more will earn Blue and Red Ribbons.
