A few news updates:

  • LATEST: The New York Times just called.  Expect an article about Auray Gourmet in an upcoming edition of the Westchester supplement, perhaps as soon as this weekend.
  • Spring is here- we now have some outdoor cafe tables and chairs for your enjoyment.  Remember that we don't have table wait service - order at the counter as usual and be sure to check inside to see when ready.
  • Genuine Gelato: Just in time for the better weather, we've restocked a selection of Bindi Gelato.  Made in Italy.  The real deal - not some pale American imitation from a NJ factory.  Current Flavors: French vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut (nocelle / noisette / hazelnuss), chocolate hazelnut, strawberry, cappucino.
  • Le Chatelain Camembert: You know there is no other.  We just got an air shipment from Paris (Rungis); they are already flying out of the case. Don't miss it.
  • Clochette: For whom the bell tolls? This subtle chevre bell tolls for a lucky few each week as this gem is available to us only in limited quantities.  Check often, or follow our Twitter tweets for arrivals.
  • Dale Saffir re-joins the team ! Long-time customers remember and appreciate Dale Saffir and Warren Reid, who founded and ran the original Auray Cheese Shop between 1999 and 2005.   Dale has joined the team as an employee, after stints running a store in Westport and working the cheese department at Whole Foods in White Plains. Stop by, welcome her back and hear the "whole" truth. She's typically here Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
  • Call Carolynn at 914.833.2274 to discuss your Spring - Summer special events needs (party platters; catering; gift baskets). Plan ahead for graduations, Mothers and Fathers Days, receptions, wine tastings, special meals, picnics, etc.
