Greetings!
Why Exercise Boosts Your Willpower
Science has proven that exercise clears out the part of your brain where your willpower reserves are found. It has also shown that the more intense the exercise, the more benefits you experience. This is why it is so much easier to eat right when you are training regularly. Most people have to train for hours per week with traditional training, but X Gym members only spend 21 minutes, twice a week to get these benefits!
Does Mood Correlate with Heart Attacks?
Your gut probably tells you that it does and it's right. Research show us that happy people have healthier hearts. Whatever is good for the heart is also good for the brain and whatever is good for the brain is good for your fitness. A good mood is physiologically anabolic which means you burn more fat and have a higher metabolism if you are truly happy and content. Bad moods on the other hand, increase cortisol levels, the hormone that increases fat (especially in your belly).
Resolution Success Plan
How is your fitness resolution going? Did you know that almost half of the people who made fitness resolutions at the beginning of this month have given up by now? Two vital tips to achieving your resolution are listed above, but there is more - much more. Follow our brain training tips to really stick with it! Read on below...
Train Your Brain
Did you do the meditation video? If not, click here to watch it today, because that is another powerful way to clear out your brain to turn yourself into a willpower machine! The new brain training tip for this issue however, is to think of what makes you happy. Is it a place? A thing? A pet? A person? God's blessings? Just putting yourself in that state helps keep you there and helps your body burn fat.

P.S. Remember that regular exercise, being in a happy place and brain training are all you need to be a willpower magnet and a fat burning furnace!
Getting too little sleep is fattening For your fat burning hormones to stay in balance, you must get 7-8 hours of sleep per night. We all have to miss the mark occasionally, but the more you miss it, the easier it is to gain fat. Even when you are doing everything else right, you can still gain fat by shorting your sheet-time. You can't fight your hormones, so work with them, not against them! For some tips on getting better sleep, check out the blog.
Want smarter kids? Click the link above to see why exercise raises IQ, performance in school, and much more. Modern society has created overweight kids on an epidemic proportion, but their bodies aren't the only thing suffering. Their brains are taking a beating for it too.
