Kourtney Smokes Another Stair Climb!    

I know, old news. Another record shattered (by a huge margin) by our fastest freak of nature (probably and alien) tower runner. Kourtney doesn't surprise anyone anymore when she wins a race, resets the record and places top 10 overall including dudes. She actually took 4th overall in this race (and first of course for women). Why is America the Fattest Developed Country?  

If you wanted to blame the largest offender, it would be high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). That's not even up for debate anymore. It's just fact. HFCS also causes an avalanche of other sugar cravings. Because of that it is often called the "gateway" ingredient that leads the way to lots of other bad food habits. What's the answer? Stop eating it! Easier said than done? Yes, because it is highly addictive and is present in most processed foods. You will probably need some help, so try the technique in the video below for starters!

Can Insomnia Make You Fat?
Research shows that it can. Most adults need 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Less than that causes your body to decrease production of leptin, the hormone that signals your brain that you're full. At the same time a lack of sleep increases levels of ghrelin, a hormone that triggers hunger. A lack of sleep also increases cortisol levels, which encourages fat storage, especially in the belly area.
