Are you exercising but not showing it on the scale?
There may be several reasons for "spinning your wheels," but here are the three top culprits.
1.) You are not drinking enough water. If you are dehydrated (like most Americans), your liver has to help out your kidneys, and then it can't do it's job of liberating fat from your tissues to be burned off. How much water should you have? For people 100-250 lbs, divide your bodyweight in half and drink that many ounces per day to make sure you are burning as much fat as possible!
2.) You are gaining muscle as fast or faster than you are losing fat. X Gymers have even been known to go UP on the scale while they are losing inches! How do you tell if this is the case? It's easy. Just check how your clothes fit. If they are are getting looser while your weight is level or increasing, you're just trading fat for muscle and its all good!
3.) You are doing the wrong kind of exercise. High Intensity Training (like at the X Gym) is the best fat burning workout. Traditional strength training and cardio may work at first, but plateaus set in quickly and can drag on for years!

Kourtney won her division and the overall for women. PJ won his division and took 6th overall for men. Mike Walter placed 2nd in his division and 8th overall, and Kevin Crossman did the best with a 5th place in the Elite category!

Train Your Brain Today
Notice the next time you are angry, how fast you can snap out of it when you change directions. Here is an example. Have you ever been arguing with someone and the phone rings with someone you have to talk to? Do you notice how quickly you change your tone and emotion to switch gears to answer the call? More on this next time...
