Do These 3 Things to Lose Fat Fast!
Follow these three tips consistently, and you could shed fat faster than you thought
possible! Consistency is the key though, but these are easy - so no excuses!
1.) Eat slower. That sounds simple
enough, doesn't it? It is if you remember - try tying a reminder string around
your fork so you think about it every bite. Research proves this works like a charm!
2.) Journal your food intake. Studies show this a one of the most powerful tools you can
use. The X Gym website has a great food log too. Try it out today if you aren't
already using it!
3.) Drink white tea. Since
white tea is less processed than green or black, it retains higher
concentrations of compounds that seem to help with fat-cell metabolism. Green
tea is still great, but science
seems to indicate that white tea may be the new power tea for fat loss. If you don't like
white tea, try a supplement.
Mike and Jamie Rock the Haiti 5K!
It seems stair climbs and navy seal competitions
aren't the only things X Gym has a talent for!
Two of our trainers at the Alki X Gym
recently dominated the Run to Help Haiti. They each won their age groups, and
Mike also took 3rd overall! Check the results here, and you
will also notice that our stair star, Kevin Crossman, didn't do so shabby either!
X Gym Wins Best Gym Again!
Thanks to all of you who voted for X Gym to win Best Fitness Center in Kirkland! We won! We even beat the big guys and all the other studios in the city, so it looks like we have a serious fan base and loyal customers for sure! Thanks again for all your support!
Train Your Brain Today
Did you think about what
you GET to do today instead of what you HAVE to do? When you go on a business
trip, do you say, "I have to go" or do you say, "I get to go?" Watch this video for fun inspiration to switch your mindset
today. It's worth the 4 minutes. I promise it will get you laughing and change
your focus on how we all should be looking at life.
Next, try this exercise:
1.
In a lying down, relaxed
position, close your eyes and breathe in slowly through your nose, until your
lungs are completely full. While you are breathing in, slowly raise your eyes
up toward your eyebrows.
2.
Hold for 2 seconds.
While you are holding, keep your eyes looking up as high as they will go.
3.
Breathe out slowly until
your lungs are completely empty. As you breathe out, let your eyes relax slowly
to a neutral position.
4.
Repeat 5 times or more.
I will explain the reason
for this exercise in the next newsletter...
