1.) Eat low-inflammatory foods. Overweight condition is also an inflammatory condition. See nutritiondata.com and pick foods that rank 5 or less per 100 gram serving. 2.) Cut sugar and high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). The current obesity and diabetes epidemics can be traced back to the introduction of HFCS in the early 70's. This poison also causes sugar cravings and general hunger to increase, so it creates a double wammy on the waistline! 3.) Get your calcium. Several studies suggest that extra calcium in the diet (and high-protein Greek yogurt has lots) inhibits fat absorption in the small intestine. 4.) Drink your water. It's very hard for a dehydrated body to burn fat, so to make sure you are properly hydrated, divide your body weight in half and drink that many ounces of water per day (if you weigh between 100-300 lbs.).
