The Big Climb is Filling Up Fast!
Sign up before it's too late! The Big Climb always reaches capacity each year, and this year it looks like it will happen faster than ever. Go online now to BigClimb.org and join the X Gym team! It looks like our youngest racer (so far) will be a 5th grader, and our oldest will be 80, so I'm sure you fit in between there somewhere ...

Train Your Brain:
Did you practice contentment by finding at least 2 things each day that you are content about? Keep it up, because developing this skill is always a life-changing experience. Once you are dialed in to feeling content on demand, you will be able to be satisfied with your fitness goals and many other area of your life! This is the only way to truly feel fulfilled with any achievement.

For your next suggestion, focus on your own abundance. Even in a tough economy, we have so much abundance in this country! Read the research below for a hint on how this can even help you reduce physical pain. More details to come...

Another study shows the importance of drinking LOTS of water.
Subjects drinking only 4 glasses of water per day reported being less energetic and less focused than when they drank 12 glasses a day. Being hydrated burns fat better too, so go get a glass right now! Still not convinced? Click the title link above to see for yourself the many benefits of hydration and the research to back it up.

Focus on your blessings for less pain in your life (and in your workouts).
In a recent study, subjects were found to feel less physical pain when they shifted their focus off money problems. Those who stressed about money had noticeably lower pain thresholds. If you think about your blessings (like practicing contentment and abundance), you will actually feel less physical pain! More on this in the next newsletter...
