X Gym's Biggest Loser Predicted Winning From the Beginning. Chris said at the very start of the contest that he would be the overall male Biggest Loser winner. He said it with such confidence, I wondered if it would actually happen. I've never been able to predict the winner, but he sure did! It just goes to show you the power of intent!
Chris is following up his BL victory with a stair climb competition in LA. He chose this instead of going to the normal BL destination of Vegas because of the race. I'll go with him and Greg (our Navy Seal stud from a previous newsletter) to represent X Gym running up the tallest building West of the Mississippi!

Brain Training: Remember my suggestion last week to change the place you store your snacks? How did it work? One member is now soda-free because he put his in the basement fridge. It wasn't worth the hassle to go downstairs and get it every time he craved it, and that taught him he could live without it. Changing your physical patterns makes your brain realize things it wouldn't have otherwise.
Your brain training suggestion for this week is to write your fitness goals down on a sheet of paper, and post it in a place where you will see it morning and evening. In the morning, ask yourself, "What am I going to do today the make this happen." In the evening ask, "How did my behavior today get me closer to what I want?" We will talk next week about why Dr. Daniel Amen (Author of
Change Your Brain, Change Your Life) calls this the "One Page Miracle."
