Now that the water has cooled off a bit, it's a good time to think about non-diving courses.
We will offer a special price for the Equipment Specialist course on Saturday, January 23. It's normally $150, now only $95. It will count toward your Master Scuba Diver rating.
This course is designed to give a more in-depth look at how dive equipment works. We will cover general repairs and maintenance of exposure suits, BCD's, regulators and other accessories.
The Computer Nitrox course is available any time--just take the course online and then come in for a short practical session--a great Winter course.
Brad Matsen, author of Shadow Divers, has just published a biography of Jacques Cousteau entitled Jacques Cousteau The Sea King. You can find it in bookstores or order it online at Amazon.com. I've got the book, but haven't read more than just a few excerpts yet. It has gotten rave reviews. Great Winter reading.
