Adventure News from Heartland Scuba Center September 2009
Greetings!

Our 20th annual Treasure Dive turned out great this year.  Thanks to everyone who attended, donated to a good cause (DAN) and enjoyed the weekend with friends, new and old.  The move to August was successful with fantastic weather and excellent diving conditions.

Get ready now for next year's Treasure Dive, August 14 & 15, 2010!

Sincerely,

Bonaire--February 2010
Let's go the islands!
Bonaire Shore Diving

Join us for our trip to Bonaire, February 6-14, 2010.
Bonaire is one of the top dive destinations in the Caribbean and it's been a number of years since we've been there.

We'll be staying at the Sand Dollar Resort, right on the water.  The Bari Reef, in front of the resort, is the #1 rated reef in the Caribbean for number of fish species (375).  Unlimited shore diving is included, so you won't run out of fish to see.

You have the option of having four people in a two-bedroom condo for only $1660; vacationers would be $1400.  Airfare from Omaha in included.

We only have reservations for 16, so don't wait too long to decide.

Even though this is our fifth trip there,  we will be going to a new place we haven't been before--the Matava Resort on the island of Kadavu. This is an all-inclusive trip with airfare from Los Angeles for only $2299.

This trip filled before I really advertised it, but if you are interested, i can put you on a wait list.  Things change all the time and you may still get to go.

Our second and last Rescue Diver class of the season will be held September 25-27.  Rescue Diver is designed to develop your knowledge and necessary skills to effectively perform diver rescues and assists, and administer necessary first aid.

You will learn skills such as how to perform self rescues, buddy rescues, recognize and calm potential panicked divers, administer proper first aid to divers that have experienced dive related injuries, conduct effective search patterns and manage accident scenes.

This course is a required for Master Scuba Diver.  If you're ready, the September class is a lot more comfortable in the warm water than the April class.

First Aid & CPR are a pre-requisite for Rescue Diver.  If you aren't current, we can still do those classes for you prior to the Rescue class.

Call today to get signed up.
Thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to read this newsletter.  We value your business and do our best to earn it.
