Don't Forget Your Flu Shot

We have seen a few cases of seasonal influenza in our offices recently, so don't forget to make an appointment for your child to receive a flu vaccine this season.  All children older than 6 months old should get a flu shot.  It is especially important to vaccinate kids with asthma and immune deficiencies.

Remember, many kids need a second flu vaccine 4 weeks after their first if they are younger than 9 years old.   Also, if your child did not receive any H1N1 vaccine last year and is younger than 9, they too require a booster dose.  We still have a good supply of preservative-free single dose influenza vaccine available.
