Maggie awarded Mentor of the Year 2008 
Maggie was delighted to be honoured as Shell Mentor of the Year at the Women of the Future Awards, which took place in London last week.
The judges said: "Maggie bridges the gap between the corporate and the human - developing the right talent to come through, and pushing those people into roles that they would not have secured otherwise. Her commitment towards getting talent through the ranks is proven by numerous high ranking women in large businesses attributing their success to her."
The awards celebrate rising stars in the business, public and creative
world and are hosted by Real Business magazine in association with
Shell.
Pinky Lilani OBE, chairman and founder of the Women of the Future Awards, said: "I often hear that the glass ceiling in business, politics and society has become a concrete ceiling. These women clearly demonstrate that there are pockets of excellence across the UK which can serve as best practice examples to others."
