 Add-on modules for Layout-8000™ customers = ROI

Version 11 of Layout-8000 ships with two add-on modules already installed for you to try: StandbyAdBoss™ (to manage an inventory of standby or "remnant" ads eligible to be run on a space-available basis) and ColorAdBoss™ (to automatically compute press impositions and help you reliably place more color ads - right in the Layout department). Contact Phil Curtolo to see demos or to learn how to turn these on for trial use. If you don't have Version 11 yet, here are two more good reasons to upgrade. Lower priced standby ads can be very attractive to new, smaller advertisers and be a new source of revenue for your paper. And selling more color, while not overpromising color positions, makes the cash register ring.
ReserveAdBoss™ (to manage premium space reservations) is an auxiliary module that is easy to install and start using immediately. Anyone among your customers and your sales staff who has access permission can get an immediate visual picture of premium space availability in all of your papers and editions for any future publishing date. Those with update permission can reserve positions. All they need is access to the Internet and a web browser. No more trying to coordinate entries on spreadsheets scattered through your organization. No more lost reservations or over commitment of premium space. An advertiser who gets the space he/she wants is a happy (and repeat) advertiser.
We can install this application on your web server and teach you how to use it in three hours or less. If you don't want it on your server, we can host it for you for a monthly fee.
