The Method 
KS LunchIn a recent interview, I was asked about the old adage that "French women don't get fat."  Studies have shown that in spite of their seemingly-fattening diets, Europeans seem to stay magically slim while Americans are expanding by the minute.  How can they fill up on bread, pasta, meat, and those exquisite desserts and not gain a pound while we continue to fight the battle of the bulge?  
 
The key is portion control.  Sometimes, even when you're on a specific weight loss plan, a slice of pizza or piece of chocolate cheesecake are simply too divine to pass up.  But you really can have it all - it's just that you can't have all of it all the time.  Portion control isn't about depriving yourself; it's about quality over quantity.
