Greetings!
We're celebrating our first holiday season at Safe Haven by inviting some very important people (our customers) to a special event; The first Share a Mystery Bottle of Wine, followed by Spin the Bottle and Win!
Bring a bottle of wine you'd like to share and we'll put it in a numbered, plain brown wrapper. After the educated guessing (and appetizer tasting) is done we'll play Spin the Bottle and winners will receive gift certificates for our area's fine restaurants.

Winery of the Month
The Bella Luna Estate is located on 5 acres in the Templeton Gap area of thePaso Robles AVA. They specialize in small lot productions of premium red wine. The estate's vineyard is planted with the noble Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon varietals and is one of the only dry farmed, head trained, Sangiovese vineyards in California. Their unique blends are some of the most sought after wines in the United States.
Kevin Healey and Sherman Smoot grew up together in Paso Robles. Sherman's career as a commercial pilot allowed him to taste wines from many different countries and hone his palate. Kevin developed his keen abilities as both a viticulturist and winemaker by working at Pesenti Winery for nearly 19 years.
Sherm was always bouncing ideas and new techniques off of Kevin. "The old and the new sometimes result in great verbal fireworks in the winery, but that's how we achieve what we truly enjoy," chuckles Sherm.
And you'll enjoy their wines that are big, flavorful and fantastic with food! Although they sell out each year, they are committed to their current level of 1,500 cases a year. We highly recommend a trip to Templeton to visit this wonderful winery!
