Greetings!

We've had a mild winter in the mountains and now with an early warm up and longer days, that means more riding.  The shop is buzzing and we have lots of new stuff to share.  Read on to find out what's happening at Suspension Experts.

We just opened the Pro Shop, our web store for professional sales of new forks and shocks.  Plus we've got some t-shirts and hoodies for sale too.

But why buy suspension from us?  We know there are tons of websites offering deals on bike parts and suspension.  Our approach with the store is a bit different and focused on giving you more for your money.  Every fork or shock you purchase from us has a complete pre-delivery inspection by our Technicians.  That means they tear it down and make sure everything is working better than new. 

What's in stock?  In addition to the new Cane Creek DB Air, we've got a full line of RockShox Ario RLs and Monarch RT3s.  For forks, we've got the Fox FIT RLC 150 and RockShox Lyrik, Reba 26 RLT (w/ remote) and Reba 29 RLT. 

And last but not least, we offer a service plan with each new purchase.  We can't emphasize enough how important regular service is to keep your suspension working for the long haul.  So if you buy a new fork or shock from us, we'll give you a 25% discount if you rebuild it during the first year.

May 19, 2012, Pisgah 11K:  A few weeks after PIMBAR you can gear up again for this 111K memorial ride for Jeff Papenfus.  We'll also be sponsoring this event, so look for Mike for tech support at a water station deep in the woods. 

July 20-22, 2012, DH Nationals at Beech Mountain, NC:  Back again in WNC!

News 

Thanks again to Advantage West for naming us Runner-Up in the 2011-2012 Breakthrough Business Challenge.  And we won $2,500 for our business plan!  Western North Carolina is a hub for entrepreneurs and this is a great example of how our region supports small business development. 
A few weeks ago I went to the new Southeast Bike Expo in Conyers, Georgia.  For a first year event, the attendance was very impressive.  It's one of the best events I've been to in a while and I look forward to going again next year. 

Looking back, it feels like I spent less time explaining about what we do and more time shaking hands with customers and bike shops who already know about us.  Maybe that's why this year feels different already.  We really appreciate the support and we'll keep doing our best.
