NEW! Avalanche & Elka
Greetings!
Suspension Experts is excited to announce that we now have active dealer agreements with Avalanche Downhill Racing and Elka Suspension.  Avalanche is an industry leader in custom-tunable rear shocks. The company's goal is to provide the industry with a high performance front suspension capable of meeting the demands of extreme down hill racing. Learn more about Avalanche here.  Elka is a Canadian company that we were interested in working with because they have a straight forward approach to damping. We're looking forward to putting the Stage 5 rear shock on our test bike and getting it out on the trails soon. Click here for the specs. Both companies focus on custom-tuned suspension that is tailored to each individual bike and rider, which is in line with our core business practices. |

EVENTS & RACES
Kevin and Mike are off to Vegas from September 21-25 for Interbike. They'll be test riding new gear at the Dirt Demo for two days, then headed inside for the tradeshow to soak up all the latest and greatest info on suspension technology. The shop will remain open during the week for inquiries and shipping, with limited hours of 9am to 2pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but hey, Interbike happens just once a year.
Paris Mountain Downhill Race
Suspension Experts is sponsoring the Paris Mountain Downhill Race on Saturday, October 17 in Greenville, SC. Two lucky riders will win gift certificates for a full service worth $100. And of course, we'll be at the race offering soft tuning and drinking beer. Click here for race details.

GETTING GREENER
Things are getting greener around Suspension Experts. In addition to tailoring our work to each individual rider, another core business practice is to make environmentally responsible and sustainable decisions.
The most exciting change at the shop is the new bioremediation sink. The Cintas SafeWasher uses microorganisms that actually eat the toxic compounds derived from petroleum products and transform them in to harmless carbon dioxide and water. Better for the technicians washing parts and better for the environment.
We've also switched from paper towels to cloth shop rags that are washed in an environmentally friendly facility. Thanks to Cintas for making this process easy for us.
 All of our waste oil goes in to a Clean Burn furnance, designed to burn any combination of petroleum products. Our business neighbors stay warm and toasty all winter with the help of our donated waste oil.
Last but not least, recycling. We've always recycled all cardboard, paper, glass, plastic, and aluminum at the shop. We continue to reuse all packagaing material that comes to the shop, like used packing peanuts, bubble wrap, and paper. Look for our new recycle stickers going on every box. Please reuse what you can and recycle the rest.
