Greetings from Sydney!

This newsletter sets out to provide brief, no nonsense news on the world of Tango. We would welcome your suggestions and input.
Now it's Pro Tools turn to Tango

Having spent a lot of time on developing the Nuendo, Cubase, Logic and Pyramix interface the team turned it's main attention after Christmas to Pro Tools.
As we all know there are limitations on the interface that can be achieved with Pro Tools using HUI but we maintain that our interface is as good as any third party controller, and better than most. That is without the virtual edit panel where the response from several people has been WOW!. You can also do things with the virtual edit interface that even a Pro Tools controller cannot do.
The latest release is in beta and is due for full release in the next few days. To coincide with the release there will be an updated video demo release. If you are on the mailing list for this email you will automatically get news when the video is available.

Jungle Jim Tangos

Jungle Jim Tokyo

Jungle Jim, is a well known post-production facility in Tokyo specialising in motor racing DVD and video.
They have been in business for 5 years using Pyramix and Yamaha DM2000.
Recently they replaced the Yamaha DM2000 with Tango and an Extension Bay giving them a 20 fader Tango.
Jungle'Jims Chief Engineer Mr.Koyama says "We are a very busy studio and we used to be quite happy with Pyramix and Yamaha DM2000 but it is a time to move ahead. Replacing with the Tango system, the studio got more working space, less cables, a more simplified studio system
"The new Tango system is great because the faders can be assigned to mono, stereo and even surround channels. So, I can have everything I want just in front of me."
Red Rock, Munich

Blue Studios, LondonRed Rock Production, based in Tutzing near Munich is well known for music production, brand marketing, live-entertainment and event production. Red Rock is using their Tango Controller for their Cubase, Nuendo and ProTools engines within their post production. The flexibility  of Tango convinced Pit Floss (Senior Engineer) and Tobias Wendl (Head of Musical Content & Audio Engineer).
Tobias Wendl of Red Rock Production said: "The possibilities to change fast between complex productions, the Pro Tools integration, and the possibility to expand the system at a later date have been the main reasons for us to choose Tango. And we all love the MonARC - MonArc really speeds up our production time."

Despite the Global Financial Crisis Tango continues to dance out the factory door in Sydney. In many places leasing money and other finance has partially dried up for a lot of equipment but people are still finding the money to install Tango, one of the most innovative, cost effective and ergonomically efficient workstation controllers on the market.
Thankyou all for your support, there is a lot more to come yet!

Sincerely,
