The Latest Smart Console
The new console is similar in layout to the traditional ARC format Professional Series Mix console but instead of the ARC it has a full meter bridge with in line channel displays.
The console has 3 x 8 in-line channel displays with EQ Graphs, Dynamics Graphs, Surround Panning, Channel name, number and status indicators. There are also 2 x active display areas for detailed displays of channel or other mix or monitoring information.
While the console no longer has a traditional Smart Console ARC it still has the benefit of ARC Technology. The Mix 24 MB has a built in MonARC touch strip running along the console and controlling a scrolling display which allows you to monitor up to 240 channels on the top or bottom section of the meter bridge.
The Professional Series Mix 24 Mb controls Pyramix, Nuendo. Cubase, Logic, Protools (via HUI), and Final Cut Pro (via Mackie protocol). It also has fast switching so it can control up to 4 of these DAWS at any one time.
The console ships in June 2009.
