On November 5th, over 450 guests gathered for an exciting night of dinner, dancing, and a celebration of friendship. We were also pleased to honor Richard and Karen Penfold with the Spirit of Compeer award and Jack Quinn with the WNY Vision Award.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, patrons, board members, volunteers, and donors, Le Masquerade Compeer generated over $90,000 for the Compeer for Kids mentoring program.
We look forward to seeing you at the third annual

Compeer Kids Christmas Party!
The morning of December 11, 2011 was cool outside, but warm inside Magruder's Restaurant for our annual Compeer for Kids Christmas party. Over 110 Compeer volunteer mentors and their mentees came from across Erie County to share breakfast buffet, and meet with our special guest, Santa. Each kid received a personalized gift, thanks to the incredible donations of our community "Angels."
Smiles and hugs of thanks were abundant. Volunteers commented on the generosity of each child's gift, and the kids themselves were heard wondering, "How does Santa always know exactly what I want?"
Compeer is humbled by, and truly appreciative for, the support shown to Compeer Kids at the holiday season, and always. Thank you for helping us in "making friends and changing lives."
