Raffi was invited to speak on April 15 at the annual BCMA President's dinner. Representatives of the medical profession in BC thoroughly enjoyed Raffi's theme, Child Honouring: A Universal Ethic.

| Article Headline | | Evergreen Everblue CD - 20th Anniversary Edition
On April 19 Raffi re-released his 1991 ecology album, Evergreen Everblue (over 250,000 sold), in honour of Earth Day.
This CD is full of songs that reflect Raffi's love for our planet, including new tracks, "SustainABILITY" and
"COOL IT". Used widely in environmental education, this eco-pac re-issued CD is a rich resource for students, teachers and parents.

Canadians went to the polls in May and young people were encouraged to get out and vote.
Raffi's video, Raffi 4 Canada, (13,000 views) appealed to the thousands of Beluga Grads who grew up with his music and are now eligible to vote.
His appeal to Beluga Grads "to rock the vote" got a lot of media attention and was featured on CBC's The National newscast.

On Saturday, May 15 Raffi gave a keynote address at a conference of the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology. Attendees found his presentation "amazing, soulful, moving -- extremely well received".

Saturday, May 28 : Our next presenter on Salt Spring Island is Annie Leonard, best known for her YouTube hit video, The Story of Stuff and book of the same name.

| Article Headline | | Honourary Degree
On June 6 Raffi will be presented with an Honourary Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
He was nominated for "recognition of his tireless work in the linked areas of child advocacy, education and music as well as his efforts to address environmental issues and their impact on the youth of the world."
Raffi will be presented with this honour during Wilfrid Laurier University's 100 years of inspiring leadership and purpose.

On June 2 in Dallas, TX, Raffi will be a keynote presenter at the Global Summit on Ending Corporal Punishment and Promoting Positive Discipline. His presentation will be Nonviolence: A Key Child Honouring Principle." He will also participate in a June 4 panel discussion, "Engaging Faith Leaders".
