Tweet Me Right

Raffi was born in Cairo, Egypt and recent developments there have touched him and motivated him to speak out in song.

Raffi's just released "Tweet me Right" celebrates the power of social media and the part it played in the release of Egypt from a corrupt dictator.

Listen to it here. Share the link with all and ask them to do the same--help the song go viral!

Raffi and "Tweet Me Right" were featured on a CBC Radio International broadcast on March 22 to the Arab world. Listen

My Drawing: Our World

The Centre's lastest program, My Drawing: Our World, will involve local school children presenting their interpertation of Raffi's Covenant for Honouring Children in art. The resulting art will be displayed in an exhibit which will open on Salt Spring and travel to other communities.

Led by Tracy Harrison, visual artist, poet and art therapist, this program has received a lot of community support, both from individual donors and corporate donations from Thrifty's and Mouat's on Salt Spring for art supplies.

The resulting art will be displayed in an exhibit on Salt Spring Island.

As we welcome the new growth of spring and look forward to the warmth of summer, take some time to reflect on our planet and what's happening around the world. Might a world that honours its children above all else hold a brighter future?

Sincerely,
