LAUNCH PARTY:

Sunday, March 16th from 9am until 11am, at Walter E. Long Park.  It's right on 973 which is the first leg of our trip. We have something really quite special planned and some major announcements before we hit the road.  If you'd like to be there for our launch, please direct inquiries here

We also have a pre-launch cookout planned for February 16th, which will be co-hosted by Tripawds.  Just a bunch of dog lovers, cooking out on the barbie, and making new friends.  We'll have more details very soon!
Administrative Changes

Presently, we're in the process of finding and selecting three new Directors for the Foundation.  Once in place I will be resigning from the Board.  This decision was made for several reasons the most important of which is that my time needs to be spent almost entirely on training, making final preparations and more importantly, spreading the message.

Putting together a seasoned Board has always been a part of the plan, but the need to do so prior to launch has become apparent.  I had hoped to keep this as 'grass roots' as long as possible but as my background is not in non-profit, I must defer to the wisdom of my close advisors.

This will in NO way affect or impede or delay the walk.  Come March 16th, Hudson, Murphy, and I are scooting boot no matter what.  Unless there's a force majeure, of course.  That's legalese for an act of God but I have it on the highest authority he favors the journey.

Sassy and Allison
Meet Allison Reed

One of the cornerstones of this great country is scientific curiosity. When Sassy, her Golden Retriever, passed away from bladder cancer at age three, Allison wanted to know why. She then spent a year analyzing DNA from the tumor and isolated and cloned the suspect cancer genes.(More)
