Presently, we're in the process of finding and selecting three new Directors for the Foundation. Once in place I will be resigning from the Board. This decision was made for several reasons the most important of which is that my time needs to be spent almost entirely on training, making final preparations and more importantly, spreading the message.
Putting together a seasoned Board has always been a part of the plan, but the need to do so prior to launch has become apparent. I had hoped to keep this as 'grass roots' as long as possible but as my background is not in non-profit, I must defer to the wisdom of my close advisors.
This will in NO way affect or impede or delay the walk. Come March 16th, Hudson, Murphy, and I are scooting boot no matter what. Unless there's a force majeure, of course. That's legalese for an act of God but I have it on the highest authority he favors the journey. |
