State Superintendent Visit

Congratulations Hamilton!

Jack O' Connell, California State Superintendent of Public Instruction visited our school Wednesday March 30th and was treated to an exhilarating Assembly with our 4th through 6th grade students. He praised the Students and the school on their Academic Achievement and gave some sage words of advice before he toured the classrooms in the Upper Campus. Fantastic!

Yearbook News

Patron Pages Are Back!!!

The Patron Page is a special place in the yearbook to send your child words of congratulations and support.  Children will get a boost on the last day of school when they see a personal message from their loved ones printed in the yearbook.  This is a great way to say, "We Love You," Way to Go," or "Job Well Done!"  Look for Patron Page order forms in your child's Friday folder.  The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 9th.  Extra forms are available in the office or online.

Attention:  Fifth Graders
5TH Graders - This is your year to shine!
Don't forget to turn in your baby photos for the yearbook.
The deadline is Friday, April 9th

If you would like to submit your great Halloween Photos (from school), please burn a disk and send them and leave them in the office.  All photos must be in by April 9th.

Green Ways to School

CLASSROOM CHALLENGE: GREEN WAYS TO SCHOOL - FINAL WEEK!

We are entering week 4 which is the last week of our classroom challenge. Safe Routes to School is sponsoring a Marin County school-wide travel challenge to motivate students to increase their 'green trips' to school. A green trip is when a student walks, bikes, carpools or takes the bus to school. The classroom with the most trips (per student) wins! Put your best foot forward and travel green to school. The challenge continues through April 9, 2010. Join in the fun and your classroom may win a cash prize. (Note that because of the contest running all week, we will not sponsor our usual Walk and Roll to School day on the first Wednesday of April).

PTA Meeting April 7

Come and join us!  PTA Association Meeting April 7th

Our Special Spring Afternoon is next Wednesday @2pm right after school dismissal in the Hamilton School Library.   -as always translation and childcare provided

We will be voting in next year's Executive Board and talking about Honorary Service Awards.

Hope to see you there!

Tour of Novato Hamilton Fundraiser

Ride and Raise Money for Hamilton School - May 1

The Tour of Novato is a one-day bicycling event held annually to raise money for Novato schools. This year's Tour of Novato is Saturday, May 1, at San Marin High School. The Tour of Novato is the largest annual fundraising event for the Novato Unified School District. The event raises money through riders who collect sponsorship pledges. In the event's first two years 230 riders raised over $140,000 for Novato schools. If you sign up toride, the money you raise goes directly to the school (or schools) of your choice. If you sponsor a rider, you are supporting the school of your rider's choice. Either way, you're doing a great thing for our kids. For details, go to www.tourofnovato.org.
