Patron Pages Are Back!!! The Patron Page is a special place in the yearbook to send your child words of congratulations and support. Children will get a boost on the last day of school when they see a personal message from their loved ones printed in the yearbook. This is a great way to say, "We Love You," Way to Go," or "Job Well Done!" Look for Patron Page order forms in your child's Friday folder. The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 9th. Extra forms are available in the office or online.
Attention: Fifth Graders 5TH Graders - This is your year to shine! Don't forget to turn in your baby photos for the yearbook. The deadline is Friday, April 9th |

S.T.A.R. (STANDARDIZED TESTING AND REPORTING) Do you want to help Hamilton Students DO THEIR BEST ON THE TEST? Volunteers are needed to assist in the preparation of our daily testing "BRAIN FOOD". During the S.T.A.R. testing window, April 26th - May 7th, Hamilton students in grades 2nd-6th will be treated to a morning snack of sliced oranges. If you have 30 minutes to help slice and bag oranges, please call Liz Feingold 883-4691 to set up a date and time. The Hamilton kitchen is available for use each morning between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. or you may choose to take the oranges home with you to cut and back. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

For this month's Teacher Appreciation the committee is treating the staff to a St. Patty themed " green lunch"! They would like to ask that on Tuesday March 23rd 3rd grade parents to bring a dish with green food, like salad, pasta with pesto or anything else that seems appropriate. Bring items to the Teacher's lounge in the Front office in the morning before and during school drop off.

Cool The Earth off to an exciting start!
Thank you to all families who have already participated in our Cool The Earth program this year. In our first week, we collected over 100 coupons! This is the equivalent of taking 7 cars off the road, and saving 87,236 lbs of carbon. Our goal is for each child at Hamilton to complete at least two action coupons, and this is a great start. Look for Ms. Hoag and Mrs. Schulist before school every Wednesday to turn in coupons, collect trading cards, and earn great prizes. |

CLASSROOM CHALLENGE: GREEN WAYS TO SCHOOL - WEEK 2
We are entering week 2 of our classroom challenge. Safe Routes to School is sponsoring a Marin County school-wide travel challenge to motivate students to increase their 'green trips' to school. A green trip is when a student walks, bikes, carpools or takes the bus to school. The classroom with the most trips (per student) wins! Put your best foot forward and travel green to school. The challenge continues through April 9, 2010. Join in the fun and your classroom may win a cash prize. |
