Safe Routes to School is sponsoring a Marin County school-wide travel challenge to motivate students to increase their 'green trips' to school. Teacher Appreciation

For this month's Teacher Appreciation the committee is treating the staff to a St. Patty themed " green lunch"! They would like to ask that on Tuesday March 23rd 3rd grade parents to bring a dish with green food, like salad, pasta with pesto or anything else that seems appropriate. Bring items to the Teacher's lounge in the Front office in the morning before and during school drop off.

Emergency Readiness
As a parent/PTA leader, you have a significant role to play in supporting the safety and preparedness of your student's school.  We would like to invite you and other parents/community members to attend the Emergency Readiness Symposium for Marin County schools scheduled on March 24, 2010.  There are many workshops scheduled to learn the skills necessary to support prevention, preparedness, response and recovery from emergencies in the school setting.  Several of the workshops being offered are specifically designed for parents/guardians, including, Get Ready for Teachers and Parents, and Parents' Role in School Emergency Readiness.   You may also view this information online by clicking on the following URL.
