HOW DO YOU HAVE A HEART . . . LET US SHOW YOU THE WAY!

The BEST and MOST fun way to "HAVE A HEART" is to create a party to host in your home.  Not only does this raise A LOT of money for Hamilton School, it's a fun way to cultivate existing friendships and establish some new friendships.  We encourage people to partner up on hosting parties as it's more fun to plan with someone and even better to split the costs of hosting (you can even have 3 people, couples, etc).

To assist in tapping into your party creativity ~ here are 2 new parties that were just created today for the 2010 Have a Heart Silent Auction:

(1)     Italian Interactive Cooking Lesson by Executive Chef @ Le Meridien San Francisco ~ Tuscany Themed Evening (sorry guys, this is girls only and limited to 15 adventurous women) @ $100 per female and will be hosted by Kristy Kehs and Nikki Gelardi at Nikki Gelardi's home in Bel Marin Keys.

(2)     Homemade Ice Cream Lesson by Executive Chef @ Le Meridien San Francisco ~ limited to 15 kids @ $50 per child.

Party ideas from the past:  Fondue Party, Flavors of Asia, Hamilton Sock Hop, Backyard BBQ's, Margarita Parties, Evening Guided Hikes, Hawaiian Lua . . . get creative, have fun ~ it's all about creating memorable experiences and raising money for our wonderful Hamilton School!

We are adding one additional item that has been successful for other school auctions ~ we would like every family to donate at least 1 bottle of either wine or alcohol (Ie: Gin, Vodka, Baileys, etc) and deliver to the following address (for many reasons this needs to be delivered to a home, versus school):

            Nikki and Mark Gelardi

296 Montego Way (Bel Marin Keys)

            Novato, CA  94949

            Home:  415.883.8739

Thank you to everyone for stretching the limits with us and creating new possibilities!

subject:  FREE Sealant and fluoride clinic

date:        1/30/2010

February is National Children's Dental Health Month.  In honor of Children's Dental Health Month, County of Marin Prevention Program in collaboration with Marin Community Clinics, is hosting a FREE Sealant and Fluoride Clinic for children ages 4-14 in Marin County.  This event will occur on:

Saturday, February 6, 2010

9am-2pm

Marin Community Clinic

Geissberger Dental Clinic

3110 Kerner Blvd, San Rafael

We have included a few posters advertising this event.  We would greatly appreciate it if you could post them at your facility where parents will see them.

This event is a great way for your students to receive FREE Preventative care.  Both Sealants and Fluoride applications greatly reduce the chance of dental decay.

Thank you so much for your participation in bettering the oral health of your students.  If you have any questions, please contact Shirley Watt, County of Marin Prevention Program 415-473-5454.
