Go Green! Hamilton School Saves Money and Our Natural resources
The results of our paperless initiative are in and they are really astounding. Think about what it means for Hamilton in the area of cost reduction -not to mention the ability to efficiently get information out to our school community!
Here are some of the results
We received a total of 357 email addresses from parents wishing to opt out of receiving generic Friday Folder information.
As of today, the hardcopy count is English: 110 and Spanish: 159.
By sending hardcopy information through the youngest child's classroom we have saved 35 copies.
Prior to this count we had to print 630 copies-one for each child at the school. The cost savings is in the hundreds of dollars every time information is sent out - Way to go Hamilton!
