 Happy New Year!
May the will of God prosper in your hands during 2010.
Isaiah 53:10 is a very rugged verse prophesying about Jesus: Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand. (NIV)
I really pray that despite all that you may have walked through in this last season, you may continue to see the will of the Lord prosper in your hands.
Here at Out of Our Minds Banners we are excited to see the growth that is occurring as we press towards the goal to see thousands of people released in personal worship with a deeper understanding of what worship, warfare and ministry mean in the Kingdom of God; to see the saints equipped to change the atmosphere in their homes, their cities, their regions and their nations.
We have made some subtle but strategic expansions this year and are excited to move forward into all the Lord has for us in 2010!
During 2009 I travelled to eleven nations, providing training in seven. I ran workshops for the first time in Canada and Israel, and I also ministered in Australia, France, Italy, Scotland and the USA with visits to Switzerland, Jordan, England and Vanuatu along the way. But that is about to explode.
We now have a team of 12 Endored Coaches in five nations, ready and equipped to multiply the training aspect of Out of Our Minds Banners. They can provide training in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Afrikaans or Romanian!
I became a member of the 8-person Steering Committee to provide strategic leadership to the International Christian Dance Fellowship for the next 4 years.
We hosted the ICDF Banner Leaders Summit at Burntisland in Scotland and we are in the process of establishing the Banner Leaders Network with a team of international leaders.
We have seen a major growth in the OOOMB team, particularly in the last few weeks of the year.
Here in Australia, Sheelagh, our Australian Office Manager is training Keziah Moss, creating a smooth transition to our new Head Office arrangements.
The OOOMB team in the USA also saw some major advances this year. In April Nikki Phillips (NC), OOOMB's Intercessor Coordinator, accepted the extra role of Newsletter Editor for "Raising the Standard", this monthly e-newsletter.
 We have a new Distribution Manager for North America, Joan Stephenson (NC), pictured at right. I am very excited to have her managing this important aspect of the ministry.
During the interview process we discovered another gem, Paula Reid (NC), pictured below, who is going to support us in customer contact and sales.
 We are purposely building a team for Out of Our Minds Banners based in North Carolina. We are expecting great things in the next few years!
In this issue you will see how one person, who was obedient to what she believed the Lord was saying, saw her banner televised around the nation as part of a state funeral.
You will also find a link below to our new team of Endorsed Banner Coaches. Please check them out and invite them to your area to begin to equip the people around you.

First-time Banner Televised

I went to a Healing Rooms Australia Conference in early 2006 and experienced waving banners for the first time--there was a large white banner with a pink heart in the centre which was circling over us, but when I inquired about it, no-one else had seen it . This made such an impact on me of God's love that I felt I had to make one like this. The banner spoke to me that His banner over us is love.
I had never made anything of this nature before and when buying material, I believe God spoke to me about 2 other banners as well . I "saw" the designs and colours and felt Him showing me how to make them, in cut -out designs sewed onto the background.
 I was going to a Women's Aglow meeting , and felt God directing me to make a hanging banner too. The banners were for Healing and Restoration, not only for the body but for the Body of Christ. I had not known that the speakers topic was going to be on healing. After the meeting I kept the banner in my home for about two years.
The banner background is a deep green for Healing and Restoration, in the centre is a white cross - where healing starts and finishes-at the Cross of Jesus. In the shadow of the white cross there is a another cross, this one is red for the Blood of the Lamb. Without the shed blood and the empty Cross of the Risen Lord, there can be no Life, Healing or Restoration.  Our youngest daughter lives and works as a teacher in an Indigenous community in West Arnhemland in northern Australia with her husband and young child. We have come to know the local Christians there. On one visit, Lois, a local church leader, proudly showed us the banner that the church community made for a conference in Darwin. It represents their community and all the skin colours in the world. I explained that I loved to use banners and also made them and would love to make them some. The ladies were very excited and have been discussing designs ever since. I felt God was telling me to give them my banner, so I took it with me when I went into Gunbalanya in early October and presented them with it. That night, the father of the two local Christian leaders passed into God's Presence. Their father was a renowned artist, scientist and Indigenous Leader. An Australian State Funeral was held - a first in this Aboriginal community. The Service at Emmanuel Anglican Church was televised around the nation with both Lois' banner and my banner clearly hanging in the church.
God took my first-time banner-makers project and televised the result around the nation. Be encouraged - what may seem like a small task from the Lord can end up having much bigger consequences! |
Introducing Banner Coaches
We are VERY excited to introduce our new training program for using banners in worship, warfare and ministry. Now, in most places in the world, someone is close enough to come to your area and conduct a training workshop for you and your group.
Each of these coaches is experienced and anointed for the task and is personally selected and endorsed by David Stanfield.
Our coaches are from Africa, Australia, Europe, and North America. We are able to provide training in English, Spanish, Italian, Romanian and Afrikaans. We will be highlighting individual coaches in future issues of the newsletter, but you can check them out now on the Web.
