 The Cycle of Life

The fall season is a wonderful time to notice our environment. It's a time in which the air chills, leaves fall, and the ground prepares for winter. The earth is changing, as it always does from one season to the next. We are stunned by the graceful dance of the vibrant leaves as the wind stirs them gently into the air; orange, red, yellow and brown fill our vision. This is a time to pause, lift our heads, and take notice of our surroundings. It is a time to savor the sun's final touch on our bare skin before we begin to cover again, bundling for the ever increasing chill in the air, leading us into winter. We have an understanding that we will once again feel this warmth as spring returns, but first summer must end. This is the basic knowing that there is a life/death/life cycle within nature.

We see this cycle within our human experience as well. After all, we are part of nature. Fall inspires a settling into ourselves, stopping to become aware of our thoughts, feelings, and relationships. It is the perfect time to take stock of our lives - what we enjoy, what we can let go of, what we might work on within ourselves. It's a time in which we may have our very own mini death - death of an unhealthy relationship, death of a bad habit, death of a paper pile that is finally sorted. And from that death, there is an opening - a birth of some kind. Maybe it's the birth of a new relationship, a new habit that better serves us, a new system of organizing. Whatever it is, we all follow these natural cycles of life and death. However, it is also normal that we get tripped up in trying to control these cycles of change. We don't want to let go when death occurs. We don't want to deal with the thoughts and feelings that arise along with change. We want to hang-on to what we know - even when what we know is not good for us. It is "comfortable" because we know what to expect. We are expending a lot of energy to keep things at that status quo. We see this in the leaf that hangs on for dear life to its branch all through the harsh winter. Stubborn until the spring comes and it can no longer cling with the arrival of the budding leaf replacement.

So fall is the time to give ourselves permission to pause, let go and embrace the life/death/life cycle. We can embrace the changes around us as well as within us. We can honor our very own nature by letting go of the struggle to force things to be a certain way. Being honest with ourselves as to what might need to change, acknowledging the feelings that come with that assessment, and working through them is how we make the most of this bountiful season. Just as the tree grows an internal ring within its trunk with each season, we become wiser as we face ourselves in our willingness to grow and change.

Many of us experience a longing for wholeness and a sense of connectedness with others and with our inner most selves. When it comes to our sexuality, giving ourselves permission to find joy in our bodies and feel our aliveness can be a challenge, particularly when we have absorbed messages of shame.
Through guided exploration we can encounter our inherent sexual, sensual and spiritual energies and awaken to their meeting place within. We can discover parts of ourselves that have been in hibernation and begin the practice of engaging our creative energy, expanding it and discovering the unique ways it serves us.
We offer the space to delve into our inner wisdom, find our own answers and to differentiate between cultural messages and our own knowing.
A variety of activities will be used in our journey such as conversation, body movement, journaling/ meditation, and art. Absolutely no prior experience is necessary.
As facilitators we understand the importance of creating a safe and respectful environment to do this work. Together we will make room to share, learn, explore and celebrate our vitality. As we honor each person we allow for unique unfolding. All are welcome.

Our bodies are like beautiful instruments.  When properly tuned we may create easily, better"harmonize" with others, and even find ourselves "in rhythm" with everything!  Envision yourself listening to a magnificent guitar.  If one of the strings is even slightly out of tune, the instrument is not playing at optimal levels.  That one string affects the overall sound or vibration of the whole instrument.  Our bodies are very similar.  Our main energy centers, referred to asChakras, are like the strings of the guitar.  Each Chakra vibrates at a different frequency and when attuned align themselves perfectly to create the flow of energy that assists our bodies in performing optimally.  If one Chakra is out of tune, like the guitar, the whole instrument does not perform optimally and energy blockages may occur. These blockages can effect disharmony and manifest as dis-ease in any or all of our energy bodies known as the Physical, Emotional, Mental or Spiritual bodies.

Stress Reduction and Relaxation Session -Experience the connection with your breath and release stresses that are held in your body!  As you release stress you will increase the amount of energy you have to do the things you love!  Barry Goldstein will take you on a relaxing journey using his critically acclaimed music series "Ambiology" to reconnect you to the natural, relaxed rhythm of your heart!  Leave with tools to manage your stress effectively!  The perfect gift to yourself, and employee f or a friend!    One half hour session for $60.00
Chakra Balancing Session-Using Chakra tuning forks, tones, toning and grace, Barry will realign and attune chakras to optimal levels and work with you to prevent future blocks in challenged areas. Barry will cleanse your Auric field using, Angelic and Tree of Life tuning forks, tones, toning vibration, and grace.   He will also teach you how to replenish and protect your Auric Field!!! One-Hour Session for $99.00
Releasing Emotional Armor Session-There are times in our lives where we feel we need to protect ourselves from a challenge or situation that is occurring.  After the situation or challenge passes we don't always realize we created this armor subconsciously.  We wonder what is missing, what is holding our heart from experiencing love at its fullest in all areas of our life.  Are you ready to shed this armor and embrace the brilliance of your heart's purpose; to give and receive love in perfect balance?  90-minute session also includes The Chakra Balancing Session!  $149.50

Auric Attunement and Activation- Are there lower vibrational energies in your auric field that are blocking you from bringing in new, vibrant energies into your life?  We will identify these lower vibrational energies blocking you and release them.  We will then create the intention for a new attunement and activation in your auric field!  Maybe new passion, defining life purpose, leadership, kindness . . . .isn't it time for something new? 90 minute session also includes The Chakra Balancing Session $149.50

At age 14, Barry Goldstein pleaded with his father to buy him a Gibson Les Paul guitar.  Thirty years later, having worked with major recording labels, film and television Goldstein won a 2005 "Best Rock Instrumental" Grammy Award for his collaboration with "the father of the electric guitar." Les Paul himself on the album Les Paul and Friends.  Now, Goldstein has also created a Pop Rock album entitled "The Moment" which bridges self-help and pop rock, urging the listener to embrace each moment of life in beauty and grace. New York Times Best selling authors such as Wayne Dyer, James Van Praagh, Neale Donald Walsh and Gregg Braden have shared 'The Moment" and its heartfelt and uplifting messages with their audiences nationally, and now you can hear the music performed live at Clarus Center on Sunday, October 18, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm.

With the passing of Les Paul in August 2009, Goldstein chose to create a concert series called "More of Les".  Barry combines Les's inspirational quotes, heart opening and humorous stories and some of Les's life philosophies with songs from "The Moment".  You will get to know Les and Barry from the inside out and see how inspiration can create inspiration!

Mr. Goldstein also believes strongly in the healing capacities of music and will be sharing excerpts from his relaxation series Ambiology at the concert.  Ambiology has been successfully used in spas, hospitals, hospices, private practices and healing centers around the world.

With the passing of his own father in 2007, Goldstein was inspired to offer concerts dedicated to his father and the father of the electric guitar...Les Paul!
