Members have shared their accomplishments, told us about their first summer jobs, shared ideas for new Y programs and much more. Moms & Dads Social Group/Workshop
for parents of children with special needs

Come to our first bi-monthly meeting, designed to bring parents together and allow them to converse and share resources.
Our guest speaker will be Marion Anderson, Executive Director of Heartsong, a music and art therapy program for children with special needs.

SEPTEMBER MIDDLE SCHOOL NIGHTS
Y 2NIGHT! -
Grades 6-8; 7:00 pm - 10 pm
Saturdays, Sept. 22 & Sept. 29
The Rye Y opens its doors exclusively to middle school youth to enjoy our facility - including activities in the gymnasium and game room, swimming, the Teen Lounge and fun activities.
Members: Free; Non-Members: $5
Gymnastics Open Workout - 6:30-7:30 pm 
Youth (ages 7 up) - Thurs., Sept. 27
Adults  - Monday, Oct. 1
Come and take part in our open workout program once a month. You'll have a chance to work on all four Olympic events, plus Tumble Trac and Mini Trampoline. $20/class or $70 for all four. Click here to register.
YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program
New session starts September 25
Choose either Tues. 9:30-10:30am or Tue. 6:30-7:30 pm 
Click here for a checklist that will help determine if you are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. If you are at risk, our lifestyle modification program can help you take control and provide tools for healthy living. FEES: Rye Y Members: $100; Non-Members: $160. Financial Assistance Available. Sunday, October 7: Survivor family BBQ. Open to all LIVESTRONG participants as well as any Rye Y member who is a cancer survivor. Watch for details.  Locks for Love hair donation will also take place on October 7.

Bike to the Y Promotion!

Get a Bike to the Y Incentive Card at the Member Services Card. Every time you ride your bike to the Y & show us your helmet, we'll punch your card. The more holes in your card, the more prizes you win! 

Parking Reminder Please be courteous and safe in the parking lot and in the surrounding neighborhood.  Please obey posted speed limits, park only in designated spaces and do not block driveways. When our parking lot is crowded or full, parking in a municipal lot is an option.
