Rye Y's Annual Dinner Honors Community MembersTim Clark

Rye residents Tim Clark and Augustina Santucci were honored for their outstanding contributions to the community at the Rye Y's annual dinner on May 17 at the Apawamis Club in Rye. The Gold Spirit award, presented to Clark by trustee Tom Murphy, is the Rye Y's highest honor for volunteer service.  Read more

The Rye YMCA's After School programs, Kindertime and After School Adventures, are now open for registration for the 2012-2013 school year. Both programs focus on nurturing the potential of each child through a variety of recreational and enrichment activities. Read more

Summer Classes start June 23
We are offering swim classes, youth karate and Super Soccer Stars this summer. Registration Starts June 13 for Members and June 15 for Non-Members. (Online registration not available for youth swim classes. Members - please drop off forms before June 13.)

The Rye Y is open for basketball, swimming (swim caps required), working out, video games, or socializing with friends.  Rye Y members are free (except special events) and Teen Access members are $5.00.
High School students: Fridays: 6/1 & 6/8
Middle School students (Y 2Night!) Saturdays, 7-10 pm:
6/2-  Bouncy House, Gym Games, Movies, Your Music Playlist & more! Please bring canned food to help us support local food pantries.
6/9 -Pool Party!  Brookside Pool Open, Party food by Powell Catering, Outdoor music in the circle. $5 for members & non-members.

MEN'S TRI TEAM
Free & for Rye Y Members. For men interested in training for their first triathlon. The team meets for group workouts & training sessions. Please email Tanya Stack if you are interested in joining.
TEEN FITNESS CAMP
Is your teen interested in having a fun and active summer?  We still have spots left in our teen fitness camp for ages 12-17. The camp is held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30-am - 1:30 pm. Activities include swimming, sports, strength training, games, agility training and much more.  Click here for more details and to watch the video.

JUNE CHILDWATCH HOURS - Through the end of June, we are continuing our extension of Mon. and Wed. afternoon hours  (4:15-8:00 pm).  We have also added new trial hours on Tues. and Thurs., 4:15-8:30pm.

Restricted parking at the Wainwright Sunday, June 3. Please park in the Carriage House lot only. Bill's 4:30 students should arrive early for class as the parking attendants won't be there and the lot will be crowded.
 

Parking Reminder Please be courteous and safe in the parking lot and park only in designated spaces on Mead Place. When our parking lot is crowded or full, parking in a municipal lot is an option.
