Wave Ryeders 2012 
Swim Team Crowned League Champions and Y State Champs of 8 and under division

The Rye Y Wave Ryeders and their fans have much to celebrate this year. After finishing another undefeated season, the team emerged as the overall League champions for the 7th consecutive year. Read more.

Rye Y Reaches 90 New Donors During Destination 486 Week

The goal of the Rye Y's Destination 486 week, March 11-17, was to educate more members about the Rye Y's cause. In 2012 the Y hopes at least 486 members will donate to the Strong Kids Campaign - a total of 100 more than last year. The week was a great success with over 90 new donors contributing to the total of $5867 raised. Read more.

The Rye YMCA gymnastics team brought home an armful of medals and trophies from the March 24 and 25 Connecticut State Championships. Read more
Intergenerational Gardeningintergenerational gardening
Patricia Fulleylove, a resident of The Osborn Home, and Esme Girard, a 6-year old first grader from the Kids SPACE afterschool program enjoy planting bulbs together at an Intergenerational activity sponsored by the Rye YMCA and Friends of the Rye Nature Center. Read more.
